No way for me to ever check or even do it if it were true). That is what is apparently impossible (and I kind of doubt it would even work with earlier XChange versions, although Swoop says it does. So I want to take other animation (from other programs) and import it to the face of a CC character (using the CC heads/bodies/etc.). What I want to do is the *import* to CC characters, not export. I have polyreduced the CC mesh in UUW3D too and kept facial expressions, handy for talking crowds

After all, if that day never comes I've saved a lot of money, and if it does, well, I might have a lot of things to keep me more than occupied the rest of my life (I have a tendancy to buy way more software and content than I will EVER use :>. But that's my problem - and perhaps I AM better off thinking "well, let's not buy ONE more thing from RL, whether it's content or software, until and unless I see facial mocap". But if we are looking at two or three years away then I really ought to just stop buying anything more and dedicate myself to what brings in money. To take advantage of the "sales" that come up I want to believe that some time this year, even if it's late this year, we'll have that piece. My bigger concern is spending any more on RL's stuff without some kind of assurance that facial mocap will be part of the equation in at least the medium term future. I actually have TONS of patience (and good reason to wait, since I have a lot of 2D animation I am committed to finishing for my clients before I can spend a lot of time on any iClone stuff). I think you're right in terms of finding the present solution not worth my time, since CC is where I want to be. I find the G6 models fairly good as is (well minus clothes/hair the actual avatar setup) so I am not too worried about custom facial stuff in this case. I unlike previous versions of the human avatars will actually be using these G6 ones cause of how they are set up I can't say I could be bothered with G5 and below.

The G6 is pretty versatile as is now to be honest so I would not be suprised if this did not change. I enjoy the g6 but yeah I dont know if it will change.
